In this short film by Tim Sessler, we witness the dilapidated remains of human existence in slow and deliberate drone footage. Sessler and his team traveled around upstate New York and western Massachusetts to tell this post-apocalyptic story. "Instead of seeing the destruction of human existence as something dramatic and negative—how it would otherwise always be portrayed in popular culture—we wanted to emphasize the beauty of it," Sessler said in an email. For a cinematic approach, Sessler used the Freefly ALTA drone.
